OMNIServiceUSA executed a critical concrete restoration project at the Fairless Hills retail complex to address significant structural failures in the pedestrian walkways.
This project focused on the precision repair of multiple sidewalk and curb sections to eliminate public liability and restore the facility’s aesthetic and functional integrity.
A site-wide safety inspection identified three primary sections of the sidewalk and curbing that had become fractured and displaced. These damaged areas created significant trip hazards for retail customers and compromised the drainage profile of the curb line. To prevent potential injury and further sub-base erosion, the compromised concrete required full extraction and professional-grade replacement.
Our masonry team utilized a precision saw-cutting technique to establish clean, stable snap lines across the three failing sections. We chipped out the fractured concrete and managed the full off-site disposal of the debris. To ensure a seamless repair, we engineered new forms to match the existing curb height and profile precisely. High-strength commercial concrete was poured and hand-troweled to achieve a uniform finish, with specific attention paid to matching the original grout lines for a cohesive, "as-built" appearance across the entire walkway.
