OMNIServiceUSA executed a specialized structural restoration of the primary access ramp at the Palmer facility.
This project focused on the precision resurfacing of deteriorated concrete zones and the stabilization of sunken slabs to restore a safe, level transition for high-frequency shopping cart and pedestrian traffic.
The facility's main access ramp had suffered from advanced surface spalling and localized slab settlement. These defects created uneven "lips" and a degraded surface texture that hindered the smooth movement of shopping carts and increased the risk of pedestrian trips. Because this ramp is a critical artery for store ingress, the repair required materials capable of withstanding constant heavy-load shear forces without delaminating from the existing substrate.
Our masonry specialists employed an advanced resurfacing and stabilization protocol:
Substrate Preparation: We mechanically cleared all loose and deteriorated concrete to reach a sound, structural base, followed by a high-pressure cleaning to ensure maximum adhesion.
Structural Resurfacing: We applied high-performance, fiber-reinforced specialized mortars to the compromised sections. These mortars were engineered for thin-application strength and superior bond durability.
Slab Leveling: For sections showing signs of settlement, we implemented stabilization techniques to lift and align sunken slabs back to their original grade, eliminating vertical offsets.
Precision Finishing: The repaired zones were hand-troweled and finished with a broom-texture to match the existing ramp's slip-resistance standards.

Measurable results that speak for themselves
Restored 100% of the ramp’s surface continuity, allowing for effortless shopping cart transit.
Successfully realigned sunken concrete slabs, preventing further sub-base erosion and settlement.
Eliminated all vertical "trip lips" and restored a high-traction surface for all-weather pedestrian safety.
