OMNIServiceUSA executed an extensive “Seal the Box” initiative across a large-scale retail and warehouse facility in Easton.
This project involved a series of technical structural repairs designed to eliminate pest entry points, restore damaged door assemblies, and reinforce the building’s environmental envelope.
The facility exhibited significant "wear and tear" across multiple high-traffic zones, including emergency exits, the sprinkler room, and the loading dock. Key vulnerabilities included a 5/8-inch gap under the sprinkler room door, deteriorated weatherstripping, rusted door jambs, and wall penetrations around PVC piping. These openings compromised both the building's security and its biosafety standards.
Our team implemented a multi-layered sealing strategy. We installed industrial-grade Xcluder rodent-proof sweeps and heavy-duty brush seals on all primary emergency exits and stock room doors. For the sprinkler room, we engineered a custom solution involving an aluminum threshold and double-sided sweeps to eliminate the floor gap. Structural repairs included patching drywall penetrations with high-strength compound and treating rusted door jambs to prevent further corrosion. We also integrated aluminum drip caps and center-door weatherstripping to ensure a completely airtight and pest-proof seal.

Measurable results that speak for themselves
Successfully eliminated all structural gaps identified as potential entry points for rodents and insects.
Rehabilitated rusted metal components and damaged drywall, extending the life of the facility’s egress systems.
Improved the thermal seal of the building, potentially reducing energy loss through previously unsealed exit points.
