The Challenge
Modern roll-up doors, while efficient for logistics, often have "daylight" gaps at the jambs (sides) and the header (top). In a high-volume retail environment, these gaps are primary highways for pests seeking warmth and food. Additionally, the lower sections of door tracks are frequent targets for rodent gnawing. To meet industrial biosafety standards, the door required a customized sealing solution that could withstand constant mechanical movement while providing a 100% light-tight barrier.
